Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac

Mr. Shafer represents mortgage lenders in the origination, sale, and servicing of loans under Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily programs. His practice area focuses on both market rate and affordable transactions, including acquisitions, refinances, finance assumptions, low income housing tax credit projects, bond financing, and Section 8 properties.

Prior to joining Krooth & Altman LLP in 2015, Mr. Shafer served as an Intern with the Supreme Court of Delaware and acted for mortgage lenders as a Law Clerk and Project Manager on multifamily transactions.
