Ms. Maerder represents mortgage lenders in a variety of commercial real estate financing transactions, including construction, refinancing, and permanent financing. Her practice primarily focuses on multifamily and healthcare loans insured by the Federal Housing Administration. Prior to joining Krooth & Altman, Ms. Maerder provided legal counsel for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, advising the Department on statutory and regulatory obligations related to transactional real estate financing matters, Section 8 voucher programs, and Community Planning and Development grant programs.
